Received this e-mail today from Rep. Tammy Duckworth’s (D. IL) U.S. Senate campaign:

Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D. IL)
Sitting on Governor Rauner's desk right now, without his signature, is a bill that would ensure all Illinois women have access to 12 months of insurance coverage for contraception.
This legislation would protect the basic right of Illinois women to make their own health care choices, without insurance companies limiting their options.
While the Affordable Care Act requires insurance companies to cover contraception at no cost, insurers are still frequently preventing women from obtaining the contraceptive methods that are right for them or failing to provide a full year's worth of coverage.
I’m taking the lead on this issue in the U.S. House by sponsoring a new bill to ensure that birth control remains covered by insurance even when it’s available without a prescription.
Now it's time for the state of Illinois to act. Join me in urging Governor Rauner to sign the Illinois Contraceptive Coverage Act:
Thanks,
Tammy
