ID-Gov: Planned Parenthood Endorses Paulette Jordan (D) For Governor

Received this e-mail today from former Idaho House Representative Paulette Jordan’s (D. ID) gubernatorial campaign:

I am proud to stand with women and families across Idaho in this campaign for Governor.

That’s why Planned Parenthood’s endorsement means so much to me -- because throughout my career as a legislator, I’ve fought hard to protect women’s access to healthcare and defend reproductive rights.

Sadly, these rights are under attack. Powerful groups are determined to roll back all the progress we’ve made on reproductive freedom, and that scares me. Women’s personal health decisions should be made between their families and their doctors -- not by politicians.

We’re working to bring this message to voters across Idaho, but right now we’re falling short of our April fundraising goal. Will you step up and chip in $10 before the deadline?

Idahoans want leaders who will stand up and defend their rights. Now is not the time to turn our backs on equity and progress.
