Well, this was one helluva week, wasn’t it? Living in this country is absolutely exhausting right now, in ways I don’t think many of us thought we’d ever encounter again. But somehow, day after day, we wake up, and we hope and fight and write and yell and believe a brighter tomorrow will come. We know we have to work for those better days, and that opposing forces are actively rooting for our failure at every turn.
But still we fight. What other choice is there? Daily Kos is a special place in that regard, because it’s filled with thousands of fighters, doing their best to combat the Orange Menace who stole the White House any way they can. Taking action, sharing funds and resources, and writing about those efforts, and shining light on the horrible ways the big baddies keep trying to force a terrible new American way upon us, and preserve the terrible old American ways we thought were behind us.
