Just more evidence that we’re ruled by a tyrannical minority who have gerrymandered, suppressed, obstructed, and otherwise cheated their way to their current political hegemony.
Two-thirds of Americans want Roe v. Wade left in place, and most who hold that view would be disappointed or angry if the ruling were to be overturned someday, a new CBS News poll finds. Recent state laws restricting abortions have prompted speculation over whether the Supreme Court might one day revisit the decision.
According to the new poll, 67 percent of Americans want to keep Roe in place, while just 27 percent want it overturned. The poll also found that 48 percent of respondents would be angry or dissatisfied if Roe were overturned, 26 percent would be happy or satisfied, and 23 percent would be largely indifferent.
Put me in the “angry” camp.
They didn’t ask about “out-of-my-mind, spitting-nails, orange-scrotum-punching” angry, but put me in that camp as well.
Wait, come to think of it, don’t put me in any camp. If we don’t get off our asses and use our anger to good effect in November 2020, that day will come soon enough.
Question is, are we angry enough to vote/GOTV/contribute what we can to make sure the GOP finds out exactly how angry we are?
We’ll see. I’m encouraged so far, though.
