Before we start, for a list of all this group’s Saturday diaries Jan 2019 onward: click HERE, the “wow1” tag. Everyone organizes their own as they choose, and the group contributes and helps! And don’t miss: WOW2 - Mid-July's Women Trailblazers and Events in Our History - 2019 by officebss, a woman of valor herself.

I just wanted to mention that I use color-boxes to easily see each item’s start and end (they aren’t blockquotes — that needs indenting) and for less whitespace, which gives me headaches. [Not meant as social commentary, but could work that way, I spoze. 😈]. I summarize & add material, sometimes at length, because what contributors bring is fascinating behind the links — a wild ride thru’ intriguing mechanisms of society & govt & science & individuals. And meeting women doing terrific work in careers and as volunteers to repair the moment and build a shared future — a power that’s only waiting for our hands to reach out into the real world and take hold. People, please sign up to do a Saturday diary — it’s a blast!

Whew. Okay, so, returning to this week’s theme, is there a pattern in the war that repeats all over again, and again? I’ll start with this as an organizing principle:

📌 Womens Softball at the Summer Olympics: IN for the first time 1996 - 2008, OUT until 2020. And then what?
