The women in the photo
Above is a photo of two women. The one on the right is Kathy Arya. When she was pregnant with her eldest daughter, she went to Planned Parenthood. As she exited the car and headed into the office, people like the woman on the left were waiting.
The woman on the left organizes the Evangelical Forced Birth protesters in Dallas (according to another Forced Birth Protester I spoke with today). During the past three weeks of this fundraiser, I have spoken with her five times. This Forced Birth Woman (FBW from here on) tells me, "These women don't know what they want. The baby killers lie to them to get their money."
Kathy, and other women, men and even transgender individuals, tell me a different story. Kathy said that in her situation, the Planned Parenthood physician spent an entire hour going over all possible options, making sure Kathy had ALL the information she needed about ALL the options open to Kathy.
And when Kathy exited, people like FBW were waiting to tell her she was a murderer and to photograph her. FBW, in this photo today, wore a body camera around her neck, like the police wear, and a video camera mounted on a tripod to her left. Every license plate that goes into or out of that specific medical complex entrance gets recorded– whether they are there for the Women’s Health Center that offers abortion services, the pain clinic, the VA office, my psychiatrist – all on tape.
FBW has said to me at a past visit: “We found out who you are.” I replied with a grin, “Are you gonna visit?” FBW gave me the passive aggressive smile/grimace she wears in the photo above. “We can!”
I interpret this to mean that not only can they find patients who enter the Women’s Health Center, they can also identify staff for the center. Nurses, doctors, receptionists – all targets for intimidation.
Or murder. The National Abortion Federation (NAF) has, on their website, a database of 84 terroristic attacks on providers and clinic personnel. How do you think the killers got the information about who to target? FBW’s are the perfectly legal information collection teams for the terrorists.
Kathy had to endure this bullshit throughout her pregnancy until she gave birth to her eldest daughter. “I walked in pregnant, I walked out pregnant ... They always screamed and berated me – (yet) my oldest daughter would not be alive were it not for Planned Parenthood.”
So, you tell me: Who should make the decisions?
Kathy, for herself, for her future, and for the potential life that grew to become her daughter? Or FBW, who has no clue why a woman is even there? Is it for a checkup? A pregnancy test? Birth control? An abortion? Or is it an attempt to ensure that they will be able to have a healthy pregnancy which will result in a loved and wanted child?
FBW believes she has a HIGHER information source than someone like Kathy. “God calls me to this. These women are misguided.”
But how can FBW, and her cronies, know these women are misguided when they don’t even know what brought them to that medical complex?
Please help us keep abortion, and all reproductive health, safe, legal and accessible regardless of what FBW thinks. Let each woman decide for herself!
