As the country awaits the Supreme Court’s decision on whether or not they will actually overturn the 1973 landmark case of Roe v. Wade, officials across the country are making moves to either guarantee protection or further take away reproductive rights. After a leaked Supreme Court opinion draft decision indicated that SCOTUS plans to reverse the case, Republican lawmakers across the country passed anti-abortion laws of their own, applauding the possibility that reproductive rights will no longer be protected at the federal level.

Most recently, Louisana Governor John Bel Edwards signed Senate Bill 342 into law Tuesday, which would ban almost all abortions in the state should Roe v. Wade be overturned. The law does not include exceptions for rape or incest.
